Store your materials inIBCs(Intermediate Bulk Containers) has a number of advantages over drums and other types of containers.
Due to the cubic shape of the IBC, the storage space can be used much more efficiently than with cylindrical drums, for example. In addition, the IBC is filled and emptied much faster than with other containers. Most IBCs are easy to clean after use and can therefore be used multiple times.
If you also prefer to store your fabrics in IBCs and are wondering how to safely and efficiently keep their contents warm, the HeatXperts IBC heaters are the perfect solution for you.
IBC heatersare a special type of heating jackets designed to keep the contents of an IBC tank safe and warm, preventing the contents from freeze damage, contamination or spalling.
Heating fabrics with an IBC heater is quick and easy: the heater is placed around the IBC, secured with the straps and turned on. Once the desired temperature is reached, it is maintained. In this way, IBC heaters are an excellent way to ensure optimal and even heating of the tank contents, control viscosity, maintain the required temperature or melt solid materials quickly.
In addition, the IBC heaters can be used to protect the tank contents from frost damage, contamination, crystallization or spalling.
Increasing the flowability of highly viscous substances through heating makes filling and emptying your IBC much easier and minimizes unnecessary product waste.
The IBC heating jackets have a number of advantages over other methods of keeping your materials warm, such as. B. heat bath, heat chamber and conventional fan heaters or radiant heaters. First of all, when using an IBC heater you don't have to worry about transporting your IBCs: they can be heated anywhere there is a power connection. The heating sleeve can simply remain mounted during each transport – just be sure to disconnect the heater from the power source before transport.
Second, the IBC heater can be assembled and disassembled relatively quickly, and efficiently rolled up and stored when needed. And last but not least - the price of an IBC is significantly lower than e.g. a heating chamber, while using much less energy than the alternative heating devices.
At HeatXperts,We offer you different types of powerful IBC heaterswith a different number of heating zones depending on your needs as well as IBC bottom heaters - if you want to heat the bottom of your tank. The IBC heaters can also be combined with the floor heaters to achieve even faster heating of substances.
HeatXperts is your best choice when it comes to manufacturing and exporting worldwide the wide range of IBC heaters, heating jackets, drum base heaters and all custom designed heaters of the highest quality.
Structure and functions of IBC heating systems
Our IBC heaters consist of a heating conductor, an insulating layer, an outer jacket, a built-in safety thermostat and a power cord with a plug. When manufacturing our IBC heaters, we only use high quality, extremely durable materials to ensure their longevity and safety.
The container heaters heat the air between the heater and the container wall, which transfers the heat to the contents.
Once you turn on your IBC heater, it will heat until it reaches the specified temperature and then maintain that temperature.
The safety thermostat is designed in such a way that it immediately switches off the container heating in the event of damage. In this way you ensure the safety of your employees and at the same time protect the expensive materials from overheating and other damage.
Compatibility with your container
The containers made of different materials differ significantly. Plastic IBCs retain heat less well and withstand high temperatures than metal ones. However, different metals have different thermal conductivities that also need to be considered. The metal tanks can usually withstand very high temperatures.
The plastic IBCs are therefore more suitable for keeping fabrics warm with the help of heating jackets, while the metal IBCs allow fabrics to be heated to much higher temperatures.
Our IBC heaters are compatible with containers from all major brands such as Mauser and Schütz. Due to their high-quality and lightweight construction, they can be quickly and easily attached to any standard container with a capacity of 1000 liters.
